Winter Wonderland

I'm really happy with Santa this year. Mainly because Santa got me one of the coolest camera's he could have gotten anyone....drum roll....a Diana F +! Hong Meow Edition. I can't wait to get my hands on some 120 film and even some 35mm film since I got the 35mm back for the camera as well. Promise to post pics soon!
Ummm and in case you ever have the feeling of smelling like Chocolate cupcakes let me recommend Dylan's Candy Bar (owned by Ralph Lauren's daughter) Candy Butter Cream in you guessed it...Chocolate cupcake. It is the yummiest lotion I have ever smelled. Too bad its not edible : (
haha
Well kids I'm off to Disneyland with my sister right now, well at least the driving part to get there. I think we are going to make a tradition out of it because It was the last big trip we did with our mom before she passed away from cancer. Miss you Mom. Bunches of kisses and hugs. I promise I will take pictures in all the cool places we did last year!

Santa Baby

Merry Christmas family and friends : )

Baby It's Cold Outside

Don't worry we do this kinda stuff all the time.
now on to something else....

Okay so it's not really that cold right now. I know its coming though, the freezing air along with the icy patches that exist on campus. I have only fallen on my arse once since I have lived in Utah and I never desire to do so again. But I will continue to laugh at others who fall. So heres my tip, last year I discovered that wearing rain boots not only keeps your pants from getting soaking wet at the bottom, but also provides some pretty awesome tread in the snow! So this year I will be prepared. I have purchased two more pairs of rain boots to wear all winter long : ) Take that slippery/icy snow, i'm the boss now! I'm really proud of the herringbone ones I got which are below.

Remind me again why I live in a state where it snows constantly and i'm not even into snowboarding and skiing and all of that other shiza? I seriously ask myself that every winter.
On another note.
I WILL go see the lights at Temple Square this year. I have never gotten to do that and I insist this year. Can't waits. For now I'm back to writing papers. Oh so fun.........

Click Click Click Camera

Okay I'm obsessed. I find myself on a daily basis taking pictures using photo booth on my mac. It's just I find myself taking various vain pictures and then realizing how lame I am and then proceed to take several ridiculously nerdy pictures in order to counter all the vain ones I've just taken. In the end, I seem to have an overabundance of pictures that I have taken of myself. Hence the obsession. One Morning, I take that back I think it was afternoon by that time, my roommate Jessica finally decided to wake up and caught me in the middle of the act. So naturally I asked if she wanted to join in taking some absurd image that the face transformer thing does to peoples faces. I have no idea who thought of putting that on photo booth but I laugh ridiculously hard at what that thing can create. So today, instead of studying the process of photosynthesis, I choose to share with you some of my favorites : )

Ps. I know all you other people out there with macs have the same addiction, just admit it already. and okay...maybe I have a lot of favorites. But even my roomies find themselves taking pictures on photo booth when I'm not looking so I had to include some of those of course haha

Boys With Girlfriends

Soooooo my weekend was pretty entertaining. Friday I went to bed early, well in college terms I went to bed before midnight. The next day Briye and I decided to go to the wonderful place named Spring City for this artist studio tour that they host every year. I mean we didn't have tickets to the BYU vs. Wyoming game (which we shut out) and we didn't have any other more appealing ideas to spend our Saturday. So off we went to the wonderful city, which I would consider pretty close to Ephraim, and Briye would call it Nephi just because thats the exit you take off I-15. Anyways, we got there, bought our tickets, and scrambled all over town in order to see as much art as we could fit in before 4pm.

I just want to say how surprised I was at the amount of talent that little town has. Briye especially took a liking to Kathleen Peterson's work, and not to mention she was a way nice lady to talk to. This town also seems to be incredibily freindly. I mean I'm not gonna lie....I judged the town as a little hick place that really has nothing going for it. This place is ten times cooler than I thought it was. And who knew that many artists lived there? Another thing-I mean I get it, I'm a history nerd okay. The town is known for all its historic buildings and I couldn't help but admire the beautiful architecture of each house. I actually went as far as taking pictures of different things I liked....even though I know I am not building a house or buying one anytime soon. One house seriously looked like an Italian estate! (I want it) Another house really made me want to break out in some line dancing or whatever people do at barn yard parties....you can tell I have no clue what I'm talking about.

But anyways....long story short. We are getting old. Haha seriously. I'm in love with that little town and its so not like me. I mean this is coming from the girl who considers San Francisco to be her favorite place.

Thanks Jamie for inviting us to come to Spring City for the day!

Paper Planes

Okay, Okay! It has been far too long since I have posted on my blog and I'm tired of being such a plain jane blogger! (and Briye peer pressured me, and dang is she good at that)

I literally had the time of my life this summer, sorry it was not very well documented.... The truth is I have been in such a slacker mode that I haven't applied myself to anything but traveling.

One of the better highlights of summer has to be when I visited my favorite city, yes yes I talk about it all the time to my friends....San Francisco!

Things I learned during
the trip:
Self Portraits while you are walking can so
metimes turn out decent

Cheesecake Factory has the worst service EVER. and the cheesecake doesn't make up for it
(ya that is my sister Erika holding one of the straws they put in our hot chocolate drinks....which melted into these contorted shapes)
but that was not the reason they sucked so bad

I am also horrible at optical illusions
(i'm trying to kiss his cheek. I guess.)

Erika is actually pretty good at Ipod ads

Fiats are the most adorable vehicle and I want one as soon as possible

I will miss my family like crazy while I am gone at school : (

Miss you Air Bear and Papa Bear!

P.S. I promise to write way more on this blogular. I mean it.Stay tuned for mas.
