Back to the Start

I have neglected you my little blog. I have been quite busy since school started and I feel like I don't even get to see my dear friends as much : ( I really do miss you (both of you)

And since I have hardly had time to do anything adventurous, I am just going to post music that I have been listening to lately. I don't know if the fact that I work at a place that plays constant remixed music has had an effect on what I listen to, well who am I kidding all I listen to is electronic music right now. With of course the exception of a few pop and folk songs....

Every week I wake up Allison in the morning by playing Miley Cyrus's song "Party in the USA". She loves it, no really I think she does. Even despite her constant groans and cursings towards me when I do. One day I may even get her to love Taylor Swift, although she seems to resist to this notion as well. I promise you, it will happen.

But for now, here are a few songs I love.

"I can be your hero baby!"

Karaoke seems to be the latest craze in my circle of friends. Most Tuesdays you can find us at Applebees singing, if our homework permits us.

We also went to a local yogurt place called Spoon Me and sang karaoke for my bday! So far my favorites have been...
Tammy Wynette- D.I.V.O.R.C.E.
Enrique Iglesias- Hero
George Michael- Careless Whisper

Oh and here is some amazing footage of Dan singing 'Hero'. He won all the single ladies with this number.Including Allison, you can even see her swooning in the video. (sorry for part of it being upside down!)

Oh, and you best believe I will be in Salt Lake City when they launch the deadstock polaroid film. I'm picking up Papa Baker and Tori at the airport that day, so coincidentally I will already be in the area! This month is turning out to be nothing short of amazing.

Examples:
I got to see Michelle this last Saturday!

Bri and Adam move back this weekend!

My birthday is Saturday!

Oh, and I'm still loving the short hair : )

Heads Will Roll

I know a lot of people that are huge fans of FAIL videos and pictures. A friend of mine recently took a picture of this Utah fail. I may have laughed a little bit....

Keep Your Eyes Right On Ahead

Well my fellow Utahn folks, it is confirmed now. We are getting In-n-Outs in Northern Utah. I had my doubts and thought it was all rumor, but now the construction signs prove it is real. We are getting one on the corner of State Street and University Parkway. I'm beyond excited. I don't know when the Orem one will be finished but they have plans to have them done before the end of the year. YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"Let's Make it Known..."

Listen friends, my internet has been sucking it up as of late. We don't know what is wrong with it....so once again I have been m.i.a., not the singer. And I know most of my friends has seen this picture but Aunt Gracie I chopped all my hair off!

My mom and me once talked about me growing my hair out to donate and I finally went through with it!

I couldn't be more excited with how it turned out and am so glad that I was able to donate 12 inches to a good cause. I seriously love the new haircut! (courtesy of my good friend Sandy)

Anyways....this video is adorable and sorry I have been so lame lately.
