Charmer

I'm really excited for the holiday season to come around. It is really starting to feel like winter now that my face gets frozen every morning that I walk to school. I'm excited but sad at the same time.

I won't really get to see any of my family this year and I will especially miss seeing this little girl above. She is adorable and I always put makeup on her or paint her nails. She demands that I do so. (or somehow she finds a way to get into my sister's makeup stash and smears it everywhere!)

Aunt Gracie you better get a camera on your computer so we can have video chat this year instead! I'm saying this early so that I give you plenty of time to get one.

Miss you!

Oh. and P.S. If any of you people are staying in town, or coming into town, I want to know! (Briye I know you will be here for X-Mas and I'm so glad!) I want to see your faces : )

Talk to Me

So maybe I'm a little late on posting this since I guess it has been around for quite some time. But reading a girl's diary this week who died during the German invasion of the Ukraine made this all the more meaningful. Such a beautiful talent this girl has.

This is Kseniya Simonova's interpretation of the invasion.

Thursday

I had such a fun time this last weekend! My sister came up from southern California and I had a blast with her! Isn't it just great when your siblings get along with the same kind of people you do? I mean it's just nice that she is able to hang out and love my friends here in Provo just as much as I do. I don't feel like I have to entertain her and take her to do some extravagant things, I can just invite friends over, or take random trips to Ihop at midnight, or go to Velour, or do craft projects, or go send her with Allison to the BYU campus, or go to dance parties in parking garages with my married friends and she is entertained.

You know what I'm saying?

Oh and P.S.
I don't care if I have been her before, being Dora is amazing. Can you see my friend Joey dressed up as Diego in the background? Seeing everyone's costumes is probably the best part of Halloween. The gold goes to Briye and Adam! Adam was Hank from Castaway and Briye was Wilson the volleyball! I sure hope they post pictures because I laughed so hard the whole night looking at them togeth. Pure amazing. A close second comes this guy that dressed as Russell Brand

Berceuse

I do believe that Coralie Bickford-Smith has done it again. Is it too early to start my Christmas wish list?

P.S. These are only available in the UK or from a handy dandy link I have from a Canadian book site, The only problem is it looks like some are already sold out! Just my luck. Oh and in case you didn't get the first round of her books they just got released in the US.
