Sprawl II

My sister is in town! It has been so fun having her visit me in Provo again and see all my good friends.

And speaking of Provo awesomeness...........some beautiful places are photographed in a Fall sweater feature on Urban Outfitters. Its fun recognizing the different places that are in the feature, including my friends bedroom.

Take a gander.

Photographed by Natalie Neal and modeled by Rachel Stallings

Thanks to Kaneischa for showing me this!

To Build a Home

It might seem like image overload lately but I couldn't help but share this awesome project that my friend Tommy Corey put together. Titled "The Self-Worth Project" he was inspired to create awareness and unity amongst people with self doubt as a result of the recent suicides of young gay men.
"The Self-Worth project is an ongoing photo documentation of people embracing their deepest and most vulnerable insecurities. It is NOT meant to be political, religious or related to any race or orientation. It is a positive outlet for EVERYONE, because everyone should be included in sharing how they feel. Unity is power, and through that power, we can change lives. When all else has failed, choose love. It will pull you through."

This project is so inspiring. A lot of people I know are involved and I learn something new about them every time I see their insecurity written on them in these images. I can't wait to eventually participate and hope others will want to join in the effort and help spread the word about this amazing project. Here are some images that I have been touched by.

What Part of Forever

Pumpkin Patching is my new favorite roommate bonding activity. It was great getting our 8 dollars worth at Hee Haw's Ranch in Pleasant Grove on Saturday.
I grew up wearing John Deere tractor hats and shirts. Thanks Dad.

We petted the animals, bought pumpkins, rode go karts that weren't really go karts, and laughed all afternoon.

Love these girls. and that goat that I named Blacky because he was the cutest goat I had ever seen. I already want to go again!

Only The Young

Sometimes I feel like breaking into middle schools and taking Hipstamatic and ShakeIt Photos.......

Or maybe it was just a Binaca commercial shoot.....that happened to be shot in a middle school bathroom

This evening was great.

After waiting for my friend to finish up the commercial shoot we rounded off the night with going to see The Drums and Surfer Blood. Great night if I do say so myself....

Thanks for letting me tag along Annette and Chris!

Maslow's Hierarchy

Fall is here and it is cold in my house. Pretty soon the heater will be used in full effect. But for now i'm in the mood for sad songs. I guess the colder it gets the colder the music I listen to. Ya I'm one of those people that get the winter blues.
Music is just the best isn't it? I love when you find stuff that matches your mood at that particular moment.

And speaking of music, if you are in the Utah area don't forget to come to Fork Fest on Saturday the 14th! It is going to be amazing with so many of my good friends playing in the shows all day long.
Just to name a few: Isaac Russell, NightNight, Book on Tape Worm, Shady Chapel, Norther, Cody Rigby, Emily Brown........and that isn't even all of them.

Here is one of my favorite songs from NightNight to get you to come. Please?

The Animal

So this just so happens to be an old shoot by my friend Tommy Corey.
