Around the Bend

New movies I'm looking forward to seeing! I seem to be in somewhat of a fashion kick right now.

Oh and I really can't wait for the Coco Chanel movie! It was made in French and I was afraid they weren't going to release it here with subtitles but it looks like they are! I'm excited.

A Praise Chorus

Sushi is more than just something I enjoy to eat. I LOVE to eat it. Good sushi is pretty expensive for a poor college student such as I, but that doesn't stop me from indulging in it from time to time.

Long story short.

All you can eat sushi is my new favorite thing. Happy Sumo is where I usually go in Provo but they are just too chic and pricey for me to go there lately.

Thank you Allison for loving sushi as much as I do! Oh and Briye, I will make you love it someday, seriously!
Side Note: We went to Sushi Ya in Orem.

Souvenirs

I found out that I got a job a few days ago! I'm so excited to start with my orientation on Thursday this week. No more freeloading off Papa! Well at least not as much as I was : )

This weekend I'm also driving to southern California because my good friend Jessica is getting married! I'm excited to be there, but not so excited about the long drive that I will be taking to get there.
At least Las Vegas is on the way!
Here are a few pics from my stop there a little over a week ago.

I also plan on fully taking advantage of being by an H&M while I am there. Why can't Utah just get one already? Oh and while they are at it, a Sephora please?

Bastille Day

Oh the joys of being unemployed. Right now you could say I am looking for job postings online, but you could also say that I am being distracted by the wonderful music coming out of my computer.

Today's distraction soundtrack is.....Mates of State!

And tonight's event will be....the free screening of 500 Days of Summer!

I mean I could complain about how I don't have any spending money but I would be missing out on such great events as this. But I do hope I get a job soon. Second interview of the week done!

Oh. And I just found this forgotten video. It made my day better.

Woke Up In A Car

For the 4th of July I took a little trip to Southern California to hang out with my sister. I'm so excited for her to start hair school and I know she will be awesome at it! Have I mentioned how she is seriously my favorite person in the world?

Although we could have caught the fireworks in her local city, we decided to go to Disneyland instead! Who would of thought? The people that were sitting next to us waiting for the firework show ended up being from Spanish Fork, Utah, such a small world it is!

PS. Thank you Air Bear (my sister)
  • for driving me to Pasadena
  • for driving me to Mission Viejo
  • for driving me to Long Beach
  • and for making the weekend amazing!

P.P.S.
It was hilarious watching you almost fall taking this picture.

Blood and Peanut Butter

Recently I went with my roomie Caroline to give blood for a church activity. I haven't given blood in forever so I was a little freaked out but in the end everything went well for me. Caroline on the other hand, had some issues.

When she was getting the needle put in the blood techy guy (I forget their official name) accidentally got blood on her. It was gross to say the least, but Caroline was such a trooper about it!

Don't Stop

I'm back friends and fam! I have traveled so much the last week that it feels so good to finally be back in Provo. And because I have so much to share I guess I will just start with San Francisco. Two weeks ago I planned on going to a show with one of my good friends Sandy but it ended up getting sold out. So we went to Gay Pride instead! What a random weekend it was.

After eating dinner with one of my besties Tommy, we walked over to the picnic in Dolores Park and on our way everyone was dancing in the street to Michael Jackson songs. I was able to capture just a little bit of it on my camera.
