What Part of Forever

Pumpkin Patching is my new favorite roommate bonding activity. It was great getting our 8 dollars worth at Hee Haw's Ranch in Pleasant Grove on Saturday.
I grew up wearing John Deere tractor hats and shirts. Thanks Dad.

We petted the animals, bought pumpkins, rode go karts that weren't really go karts, and laughed all afternoon.

Love these girls. and that goat that I named Blacky because he was the cutest goat I had ever seen. I already want to go again!

Maslow's Hierarchy

Fall is here and it is cold in my house. Pretty soon the heater will be used in full effect. But for now i'm in the mood for sad songs. I guess the colder it gets the colder the music I listen to. Ya I'm one of those people that get the winter blues.
Music is just the best isn't it? I love when you find stuff that matches your mood at that particular moment.

And speaking of music, if you are in the Utah area don't forget to come to Fork Fest on Saturday the 14th! It is going to be amazing with so many of my good friends playing in the shows all day long.
Just to name a few: Isaac Russell, NightNight, Book on Tape Worm, Shady Chapel, Norther, Cody Rigby, Emily Brown........and that isn't even all of them.

Here is one of my favorite songs from NightNight to get you to come. Please?

Here's The Thing

I got a job up in the Salt Lake Area for at least a month.

I have loved it soooo much because after I get off work I call up my good friendsies that have decided to move there.

We roam the city and eat at yummy restaurants and sometimes hang out in cute parks. Sometimes I wish I had a boy to take all these cute places to.

Anyways.........

Basically the moral of the story is I am having a fun summer.

Highlight of my week was sitting around the reflection pool at the SLC temple. Jess decided to throw in coins and make some wishes. I decided to document it.
I love my life. I love my family. I love my Friends.

Dory Pervin

I love me some carousels and ferris wheels.

Luckily I got to go to Lagoon, the amusement park of Utah (is there more?) with a bunch of friends on Friday and was able to endulge on a bunch of rides. We had the whole park to just ourselves and other overstock.com employees and it was amazing not having to wait in any lines! Thank you Jessica for the invite love.

Although I love rollercoasters, my body sadly does not. I got my butt kicked on a lame ride and was pretty much out for the rest of the day. I had fun being with all my friends though : )

Next on the list of to do's for the summer: go to a local water park, and have a picnic on a mountain.

Lloyd, I'm Ready To Be Heartbroken

I'm loving my friends right now. Even though I don't always have the most social schedule I hope they know they are the Best!

Even Garrett Spencer.......who actually kind of looks like a younger version of my Dad in this picture. A tad strange?

And even Katie B who recently got in a car accident! It was so sad watching her car get towed away. She luckily is safe and sound even though her car might not be.
I know this post is a tad random, I just really wanted the world to see those pictures.

Oh and just in case you were wondering. McDonald's does not have a $10 deal for 50 chicken mcnuggets going on. Do not be fooled as me and Jessica were .......However it should be noted that the McDonald's by Ikea is perhaps the classiest one I have ever seen.
Oh and apparently Allison believes in peace now.

Loves you all, hopefully the new year is treating you well so far : )

Bad Romance

So maybe I've gone a few times.....or more than a few times.

It is way too dangerous having this place right by where I work!

Thank you Utah!!!!!!!!
I'll take a number two, no onions, two packets of spread, and a neopolitan shake please : )

"I can be your hero baby!"

Karaoke seems to be the latest craze in my circle of friends. Most Tuesdays you can find us at Applebees singing, if our homework permits us.

We also went to a local yogurt place called Spoon Me and sang karaoke for my bday! So far my favorites have been...
Tammy Wynette- D.I.V.O.R.C.E.
Enrique Iglesias- Hero
George Michael- Careless Whisper

Oh and here is some amazing footage of Dan singing 'Hero'. He won all the single ladies with this number.Including Allison, you can even see her swooning in the video. (sorry for part of it being upside down!)

Run This Town

I had no idea how much fun was in store for my birthday. I feel so blessed to have such wonderful people in my life. Thank you friends.

Because clearly....

I have never laughed so much at the zoo

I couldn't NOT post all these pictures. Thank you Dan and Allison!

A Praise Chorus

Sushi is more than just something I enjoy to eat. I LOVE to eat it. Good sushi is pretty expensive for a poor college student such as I, but that doesn't stop me from indulging in it from time to time.

Long story short.

All you can eat sushi is my new favorite thing. Happy Sumo is where I usually go in Provo but they are just too chic and pricey for me to go there lately.

Thank you Allison for loving sushi as much as I do! Oh and Briye, I will make you love it someday, seriously!
Side Note: We went to Sushi Ya in Orem.

Hare Krishna Hare Krishna.....

Oh how I love going to the Hare Krishna temple for the Holi Festival of Colors. Especially with a few of my great friends. Sadly I missed the countdown to throwing all the colors but still managed to get some colors thrown on me as soon as I arrived. Hanging out with Pat and Allison was hilarious, and I'm so glad Alyssa was able to go for the first time (she grew up nearby and had never gone)!

Dancing.

Taking Pictures.

Walking in the temple.
Enjoying the other festivities outside.

All so fun.

I'm glad these events were well documented.
Annnnd I'm so glad to have one of my favorite girls back from her mission in Russia. Can't wait till she officially moves in at the end of the month!!!!
