Showbiz

It's official! I moved into my new casa this week. I miss my roommates but I just love not living in a big complex right now. I feel pretty spoiled I'm not going to lie. Briye and Adam's place is awesome!!! I promise to take care of it Briye : )

Tonight I'm going to go with the girls to the local Beehive Bazaar. I'm excited because my good friend Katie B will be selling some of her jewelry. I saw some of it last night and I fell in love with her new stuff. Especially one of her necklaces, hopefully I get there early enough to get it before anyone else does! If you are bored and are in Provo be sure to stop by, it is going on all this weekend and tonight there is music and treats! Yay.

"I Don't Know About You"

but bringing parentals into Urban outfitters can be quite amusing. When I landed in San Fran on Thursday we went to Fisherman's wharf to get some yummy seafood and then drove into union square to do some shopping. It was hilarious watching my dad (a farmer/hick kinda guy) look through all the random books such as : The Cannabis Cookbook, Stuff White People Like, I Can Has Cheesrburger (ya I spelled it right, and it's a wierd book about cats). Those are just a few and I won't list the crazier ones for obvious reasons.....Anyways. I'm glad I was able to find some things I liked at Urban, and that my Dad was able to be distracted by the randomness of Urban at the same time.
This cat is from that really weird "I Can...." book.

And. I need to take pictures of all the happenings I have been doing, such a slacker I am. I learned stick shift yesterday and it was embarassing. Even some random neighbor guy came out and was watching me after he got his mail on the street corner. What a creeper.
I'll try to master it today some time. Hopefully.........

"You Wrote the Song I Wanna Play"

I have pretty much emailed most of my girls a few songs from Metric's new album but I figured she is worth mentioning again. Just in case they never listened to the songs ladies....!

I first heard Metric on Grey's Anatomy in the second season of the show (in my opinion the best season both musically and plot wise). I liked them then, but I have to say this album is ten times better than their 'Live It Out' album. They won me over. See why : )

Get a playlist! Standalone player Get Ringtones

California Dreaming

I'm making a list of things to do when I fly into California this week. I hope I get to do as many of these things as possible : ) I just can't wait, I mean I haven't been home since Christmas and that just seems like such a long time ago.
While in SF:
go to pier 39
-look at the seals
- go to Fisherman's Wharf and enjoy some yummy seafood
-or possibly make my dad take me to Sushi Rock. (even though he thinks sushi is disgusting)
but I mean "What they can't rock, they roll!" that is the best sushi slogan I have ever heard of
-H&m, I need jeans bad!
While in Redding:
-In-N-Out
-Whiskeytown or Shasta Lake trip
-Dutch Bros Coffee (I miss their red bull w/peach and Kiwi flavoring)
-learn to drive stick
-Drive the Stang AND the newly fixed up Jeep pickup
-Enjoy our new hot tub
-watch Law and Order with my Air Bear (my sister)
-and lastly, do something special to remember my mom (she will have passed away exactly a year ago this week). Miss you momma bear

Can't wait for the good weather and good times with my family!

The Maker Makes

The new blog background and banner is up! Thank you Briye Guy. You are just a peach. Now I have to figure out what to get you for your graduation, since I won't even be here for it......
Well anyways, I decided to change the name of the blog to Sweet Disposition last week. Mostly because "We Sure Are Cute for Two Ugly People : )" was kind of long. I loved the title because it comes from one of my songs, but I love the song that my blog is named after now just as much!

Here is one of the pictures that came out of my first role on the Diana F+ I got for Christmas. It is double exposed with another picture that we took the day before. I love how the umbrella is around Alyssa. However I do not like how dark it turned out and how Allen's Camera cross processed it. Most of the pictures turned out to be too blue or too green.
I guess it is a learning process. Hopefully the next role I just dropped off will turn out better.

Extraordinary Machine

I pretty much admire anything vintage.
Especially anything that came from the 40s and 50s!

That is why I am so excited that my Dad finally fixed up the car he drove in high school. He bought it for about 300 dollars during the 1970s (good eye dad). So here she is....our 1959 Willy's Jeep pickup truck! I can't wait to learn how to drive it when I go home for a few days next week
I can't wait till I can take more detailed pictures of all the stuff we did to make it look nice again. Believe me this thing has been rusting in our backyard for awhile.
P.S. I'm sick of people making fun of me for not knowing how to drive stick. Next week no longer will that be possible!

Hot Revolver

So this post is kind of random but.....there seems to be a lot of movies that I have never seen. Like right now, I'm watching Donnie Darko for the first time. And I must say that I am enjoying it. So naturally I would like to know more movies that I should/need to watch. Please offer some advice : )
ooooo and p.s. Briye has been making me this awesome background and banner for my blog. (cuz mine is rediculously ugly right now)It looks ten times better than what I have right now and she has proved once again that she is amazing! And she is graduating from BYU in a week and a half. Congrats love!
(BTW we were extremely excited to go to the 'So You Think You Can Dance' performance tour in this picture. Sooo fun!)

Hare Krishna Hare Krishna.....

Oh how I love going to the Hare Krishna temple for the Holi Festival of Colors. Especially with a few of my great friends. Sadly I missed the countdown to throwing all the colors but still managed to get some colors thrown on me as soon as I arrived. Hanging out with Pat and Allison was hilarious, and I'm so glad Alyssa was able to go for the first time (she grew up nearby and had never gone)!

Dancing.

Taking Pictures.

Walking in the temple.
Enjoying the other festivities outside.

All so fun.

I'm glad these events were well documented.
Annnnd I'm so glad to have one of my favorite girls back from her mission in Russia. Can't wait till she officially moves in at the end of the month!!!!
